Our Jug Vase is a giant sculpture created in a combination of wood and terracotta. This magnificent piece is thrown first by hand on a wheel, then sculptured on and then burnt in a kiln. The result of the firing is this smoke like texture which is then matched with an uneven wooden handle. The handle has a natural texture, again created by hand to create similar impressions of different materials.
